This past summer, when I installed Google Drive, I thought it might be a good alternative to Dropbox. It offered more storage and I thought it would integrate well with the rest of the Google suite we were using. I was wrong. Here are instructions on how to remove it so you no longer get those annoying update messages.
One of the biggest problems I've encountered with video editing software is making sure that the media you are using is consistent from video capture through timeline editing and final render. For that reason I'm a big fan of using Keynote as a way to standardize or make sure all your media will render the way you want it, particularly if you are using photos or other static graphics (like clip art, charts, etc.).
