I was in a quandry about how to create an image signature like we use in Apple Mail for the GMail web interface. Then I found Gravatar.
It is not as easy to create an image signature (that is, a signature with a jpg or png graphic in it) in GMail as it is in Apple Mail. GMail will not allow you to store an image file like the Apple Mail client. It will only allow a link to an image file. I have the image file, but could never figure out where to put it so that it would remain accessible "for all time". If, for example, I put the image file on a file server, and the file server goes down, the image link will not work any more. Your signature would have a square with a question mark in the middle of it indicating that the link was broken.
Gravatar is developed by the same folks who created Wordpress. It is designed to provide a user with an avatar that can be used across a variety of websites. There is a video on the Gravatar home page that explains how it works.
In order to use a signature when composing an email in the GMail web interface, first create a Gravatar account for yourself using your countryschool.org email address.
I am going to give you instructions for uploading the Country School logo so that you will have a URL that you can use in creating your GMail signature. Once you have created your Gravatar account, follow the instructions below.

That's it! Not only do you have a signature in GMail that includes the Country School Logo, but whenever you use your Country School email address to post on a forum or reply to a blog, your new avatar will be posted along with your email address.
You can also configure your Gravatar account to provide additional security by linking your account to your other social media.
